Meadow Knapweed | Centaurea pratensis
One to several stems extending from a woody root. Lower leaves have long stalks, upper leaves have no stalks. Rosette leaves have prominent white mid-veins; all leaves are hairy. Bright pink to purple flowers with papery, fringed bracts.
