Puncturevine | Tribulus terrestris
Summer annual; highly branched, spreads radially from the crown. Stems are green to reddish brown. Leaves are opposte, 3-7 pairs of leaflets per leaf, and are lightly covered with silky and/or bristly silver hairs. Bright yellow flowers with a single flower per stalk. Fruits are woody, gray to yellowish-tan with short spikes.
