This perennial buttercup is provides an excellent pop of color to a sunny prairie or partially shaded woodland garden. It is often one of the first forbs to pop up in early spring around the Willamette Valley. The leaves are often basal, deeply lobed, and visibly fuzzy. Flowers are yellow with 5 round petals. Great companion species to plant with alongside camas.
